My Ship is Not a Shed

My cabin is not a shed,

it’s a little room contained within

the skill of life,

and tossed upon a wild and stormy sea.

A shed maybe a shelter,

so much more than this than just staying dry

between the horizon and the overarching sky.

This boat is a life line liner — no icebergs in sight,

just pure and simple delight.

Plenty of time for leisurely leisures

and lashings of earthly and other worldly pleasures.

My ship is not a shed.
