Dilemma in the Park
To walk in the park,
or to have to find a park,
that’s part of my dilemma.
I’m free as a lark,
but I’m right at the end of my tether.
It’s used by so few,
but those few are so suffused.
I’m sitting here now,
seeing how I’m so enthused.
This little arcadian strip,
in the grip of the grim,
it’s green and it’s pretty
in the midst of the shitty.
This green little bit where I love to sit,
is a great counterweight — to the city.
