Love Is A Contradiction

My blood’s dissolved,

I’m quite resolved

to living without loving you,

and not boding a bifurcated life

but loving is what I do.

Every waking moment or two

and deep within my draws,

I think of you every second

and at least every second second,

and life is a life sentence,

so there’s several billion seconds

to go up a one way street

with a huge cliff at the end.

This love — is my addiction,

a crucifixion,

a baby in the maze of confusion —

and confliction.
