Dilemma in the park

To walk in the park

or to have to find a park

that's part of my dilemma.

I'm free as a lark

but I'm right at the end of my tether.

It's used by so few

but those few are so suffused.

I'm sitting here now

seeing how I'm so enthused.

This little Arcadian strip

in the grip of the grim

it's green and it's pretty

in the midst of the shitty

this green little bit

where I love to sit

a great counterweight

to the city.
